On-line continuing education activity integrity is a concept used to address the authenticity of the participant's work.

You agree that completion of any and all parts of the online activity will be completed independently.

You agree that upon receipt of your Certificate of Completion that said certificate will not be manipulated, altered, or changed from the original information in any way.

* Violation of these integrity guidelines is considered an ethics violation and if reported, can be more serious than the nature of the conviction because it involves falsifying documents for personal gain.

If you are required to report any of your Nuclear Medicine or PET Continuing Education, Compliance, or Accreditation hours to the ARRT, ASRT, SNMMI-TS, NMTCB, ICANL, ACR, States DOH, or any of the Accreditation agencies, you cannot take the same course curriculum twice and receive credit. Some courses syllabi share the same reference numbers. Courses must be 100% completed in the entirety to receive SNMMI-TS Voice Credits. All course material must be completed within the activity period of SNMMI-TS approval calendar. Please contact us if you need to know the current dates of each courses activity period.

ARRT regulations state that an individual may not repeat a self-learning activity for credit if it was reported in the same or any subsequent biennium.

As an online student, you will also have access to online academic advising and technical support through email, telephone, instant messaging, voice-over-IP audio and video web-conferencing.

Before completing an online application, we encourage you to talk to one of the faculty advisers to see if online education fits your learning style and current plans.

Before signing up for any course, please contact your States or Nations Medical Radiation Licensure Board to see if you have met their eligibility requirements for any permits. We do not provide clinical or on the job training experience at the Institute. Holding a Certificate of Completion does not constitute training or permit use with operating these systems. Please refer to your specific States eligibility requirements before signing up for any courses here and that to your credentials permit you to practice Nuclear Medicine or PET/CT Imaging. Additional education and clinical competencies may be needed to meet your eligibility requirements.

It is the technologist responsibility to perform due diligence in finding out if their prior clinical training and formal education qualifies them to participate in courses at the PET/CT Training Institute.

All eligibility requirements must be completed and the application and fee must be received in the NMTCB office by December 31, 2015 in order to be considered for approval to sit for the NMTCB exam through Alternate Eligibility.

ARRT does not allow CE activities such as internet courses, home study programs or directed readings to be repeated for CE credit in the same or any subsequent biennium. If you report CE credit to another regulatory agency, check with the agency regarding their CE requirements.”

SNMMI-TS Recertifications and Reactivation of CE Voice Credits: Alternative Eligibility Course Part I: October 28, 2013 to October 31,2014. PET Registry Review Course: October 28, 2013 to October 31, 2014. Please be aware of your Activity Period in which you are working within. All work my be submitted in the time allotted. The PET/CT Training Institute reserves the right to change any course syllabus, or CE value as needed.

To receive continuing education credit for this activity it is a requirement that you:

View each topic within the activity,
Participate in each activity,
Achieve a passing score of 80% or greater, as set by the accrediting board, on all quizzes and tests, and
Complete the course evaluation.

If you do not complete all of the key elements above, you have not met the requirements required to receive credit for this activity and your Certificate of Completion will not print. The quizzes and test questions are random; if any of the tests are exited for any reason prior to finishing, the answers will not be stored and you must return to complete the test.

The SNM policy in accordance with the ARRT and NMTCB guidelines is that credit can not be awarded after an activity expires. Activities are valid for only one year.

The student must pass all quizes and exams with a grade of 80% or higher in order to receive SNMMI Voice Credits. A student will be allowed up to two attempts per test without penalty.
